Most people put off a dental visit because they do not know what it will involve. Here is what a first appointment at MD Dental Group actually looks like, start to finish.
The visit begins with an exam and X-rays. Dr. Khudikine looks at each tooth, checks the gums, and looks at how your bite comes together. X-rays show what the eye cannot: decay between teeth, bone level around the roots, and anything sitting under an old filling.

Then he tells you what he found. Not a list of codes — what is happening, which parts need attention now, which can safely wait, and what happens if you leave something alone. If a tooth is fine, we say it is fine.
Cost comes next, before anything is scheduled. You get a written estimate with your insurance portion and your portion listed separately. We are in-network, so treatment is billed at your plan’s contracted rate. If your plan has a waiting period or an annual maximum that changes the picture, you will hear about it at this point and not after the work is done.
